We got married in September 2023, and the thought of having a videographer hadn’t occurred to us initially. We are both quite shy when it comes to having our photo taken so thought it was going to be anxiety-inducing enough having a photographer, let alone adding a videographer in to the mix, however I am SO thrilled we did. We are so lucky Katharina was still available on our date which I put down to it being a Thursday and therefore not a “desirable” date for many people because it was quite a last minute decision with only a few months until the big day. Katharina is not only a lovely person but an incredibly talented videographer. She made us feel at ease and her confidence and experience shone through during our pre-wedding chats so we knew we were in safe hands. On the day we barely saw her and were amazed when we received our videos just how much she had managed to capture! The videos themselves are beautifully filmed and edited, and I can safely say we have watched them more times than I can count! To have a lovely USB with them all saved on is such a nice touch, although I also have them all on my phone because I love them so much! It hadn’t occurred to me initially but it was so lovely and important to have these memories captured on film, partially because when you have older relatives or young children, and we have both, time moves so fast and it’s so special to have recordings of these important people in your life. I would highly recommend Katharina as a videographer and would go so far as to say she is an essential for your special day, find room in the budget because you will never regret having all those memories filmed to keep forever, the day really does fly by and there is so much you miss on the day too! Looking back at our initial wedding planning, a videographer was something we thought we didn’t need or want when having a small destination wedding- we couldn’t have been more wrong. As fate would have it, we came across Kat through a Mallorca Wedding planning Facebook page and instantly fell in love with her style of videography. Upon reaching out to her and chatting via messenger we just knew we needed a videographer and that we needed Kat. Over the weeks leading up to the wedding I spoke to Kat what seemed like constantly, sharing our mood boards, vision and the vibe we wanted for our day- relaxed, intimate and fun which Kat delivered exceptionally. When we met Kat in person on the morning of the wedding I felt like we were greeting an old friend, her whole energy, persona and vibe is incredible. We are not very confident in front of the camera and she made us feel incredibly at ease throughout the whole day, directing us to get the perfect shots. One of the reasons for hesitating on booking a videographer was that we didn’t want our guests (25 inc us) to feel like there was constantly a camera in their face, again, we couldn’t have been more wrong with Kat. Kat blended in to our guests and captured every single detail absolutely perfectly without ever feeling like you were being constantly videoed. I honestly don’t know how she managed to capture literally everything so beautifully. Everyone commented on how lovely Kat was and has since been blown away with the results. Watching the videos back (which were very quickly delivered) after our wedding was like reliving the day again. We were able to see parts we both had missed and see the joy and love on our guests faces- something that we will forever be so grateful for. Kat is such a talented videographer and an incredible person, we could not have picked a better videographer. People had remarked before that wedding videos are the type of thing you’ll watch a few times and forget about, they clearly didn’t have Kat creating theirs as we have watched all of ours back constantly and will cherish them forever. Words can't even describe how amazing our wedding videos are and we couldn't be more grateful to have had Katharina capture our special day. From the very first teams call Kat has been so professional and also so warming and friendly. She has so much knowledge on all things wedding and was a great help throughout the planning stage.

Our experience with Katharina was positive from the start! We had changed our mind about hiring a videographer when we saw her work and knew it was an expense worth exploring. We would have definitely regretted not investing in filmsbykatharina as the outcome is amazing.
On the day, she worked so seamlessly with the photographer, giving a relaxed feeling while capturing every moment. It was almost like she wasn’t there but yet we have so much footage from the day. She knew every detail to shoot and made sure guests were also included so we could see every aspect of the day. Our venue was beautiful but she managed to highlight just how perfect it was through her drone footage as well as detail shots.
Receiving the preview was so quick we managed to receive it while we were still away - a perfect way to relive the day. We received the full set of videos less than a month after the wedding and are so happy with them. The candidness of the footage of guests as well us ourselves really captures the mood of the day! We cannot wait to continue watching for years to come.

I feel so lucky to have found Katharina to capture our special day . I know this was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning . It was my husband I needed to convince as he was never set on having a videographer but I knew it would mean in years to come we could re-live our special day and for our daughter to watch. By the time I convinced him we lost the date with Kat but eventually dates moved around and she became available again . It was meant to be and I was so happy but this is advice to all thinking of a videographer - get your dates locked in before it’s too late !!

Choosing Katharina as our wedding videographer was one of the first and best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. We had seen Katharina's work on Instagram through a few recently married couples we knew, and we loved her style so knew we wanted to book her in as soon as possible.
Katharina was super quick to get back to us and communication was great throughout the whole process. We had a call a couple of months before the wedding to run through all the finer details, and it was really nice to get to know Katharina a bit more ahead of the big day. She was so lovely and we felt we really got along with her straight away! You could tell that she was a perfectionist and really knew how to execute the vision - and that she did! She also took the initiative to reach out to our photographer beforehand and had a call with him to discuss the flow of the day with them working together - I thought this was really going above and beyond and it really put our minds at ease that we were in the hands of a true professional.
On the day, Katharina was super discrete and worked so well with our photographer and his assistant. All of them blended in with our guests and were great at giving direction. We had sparklers which meant waiting for the sun to go down, which in May wasn't until around 9pm.. I wasn't expecting Katharina to stay so late but we really appreciated it and love the sparklers footage in the films!
After the wedding we flew straight to Rhodes for our minimoon and within 4 days, we had our teaser trailer film. Needless to say we were both crying around the pool when we first watched it! With the day being so fresh it was so special to have the video to watch and relive it all while we were on our minimoon. We probably watched it another 10 times that day!
Katharina has since delivered the rest of our films and we have done lots more crying (happy tears!). She really has such an eye for capturing the special moments and intricate details so beautifully. We've also shared the videos with family members who couldn't make the day and they've loved seeing it all! We're planning on having a "viewing" of all the videos for friends and family soon which we're really looking forward to :)

Choosing a wedding videographer is such an important decision because your film becomes the way you feel your wedding again. For us, once we discovered Katharina’s work, we instantly knew she was the one. Her films don’t just document weddings, they tell stories. Having Katharina as our videographer was one of the best decisions we made for our day at Son Berga, Mallorca.
From the moment we met Katharina, she made us feel completely at ease.
