Welcome, my name is Katharina Ahlemeyer, also known as the creator of @filmsbykatharina!
Thank you for visiting my website. Let me introduce myself as your Videographer. I am based in East Sussex and London, however I absolutely love to travel across the whole of the UK and abroad, to capture your special day, brand or business.
Over my 5 years of working as a Videographer, I have crafted my own style that encapsulates the many moments of euphoria and meaningful sentiment that makes your wedding day one to never forget.
I like to be unobtrusive whilst filming your special day so I am able to capture those natural moments as purely as they happen, for you to relive your first kiss to first dance time after time. I film using two 4k Cinema Cameras and I have a small stabilisation set up, so that I'm not a distraction on your Wedding day.
I have worked on a vast number of different types of weddings, ranging from traditional, intimate weddings to elaborate grandiose celebrations set to a backdrop of a Country Estate.
I have also filmed a number of destination weddings, in Umbria Italy, Bordeaux France, Santorini Greece and Mallorca Spain.

I am a young, enthusiastic Videographer who is easy to get along with. You may hardly notice me on your special day. I won’t be in your way, I will film your day discreetly and, just like your photographer I’ll be on the move the whole day. I like to be unobtrusive whilst filming your special day so I am able to capture those natural moments as purely as they happen, for you to relive your first kiss to first dance time after time. CAPTURING AUTHENTIC MOMENTS
I love getting caught up in the couples love story, as I want to treat the special day and film with as much detail and care as you do. My theme in my wedding films is to capture all the special moments on your day, even the ones you don't get to see, as well as adding the perfect musical accompaniment to achieve a beautiful cinematic look for your film. I will create a music playlist for your wedding films. Unfortunately music has a copyright, so you can’t choose any song you like, but with the songs I send you, you are then able to share the film with friends and family online. I will also record your vows, speeches and any readings spoken on the day, I will overlay these onto your films so that the words spoken on the day aren't forgotten and the special people reading them help to tell your story.

I want to capture your wedding films as naturally as possible, so I won’t be asking you to do any fake smiles or awkward poses, I will just give you little tips to make you feel relaxed, happy and make you laugh and smile in front of the camera. My main aim is for you to look back on these wedding films for years to come and to give you a love time capsule of your wedding day, celebrating with all the special people in your life. Wedding films are the best way for you to remember your wedding day just how it was, as I will capture all the special moments for you.
